Terms and Conditions

Incorporating our Refund Policy — your agreement with LSAE.

Document Version 2.0 · Effective 31 August 2026 · Reviewed 31 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement and include, in Section 6, our full Refund Policy. Please read them carefully before registering, enrolling, or using our services. Contact us at support@lsae.co.uk if you have any questions.

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('Student', 'Member', 'User', or 'you') and the London School of Applied Excellence ('LSAE', 'we', 'us', or 'our'), governing your access to and use of LSAE's website (lsae.co.uk), learning platform, courses, and all related services — including our Degree Pathways and Professional Qualification courses (collectively, the 'Services').

We operate as an accredited online learning institution offering 100% online Degree Pathways and Professional Qualification courses to learners in the United Kingdom and internationally through our website at lsae.co.uk.

2.2 How to Contact Us

For general enquiries, please contact us at info@lsae.co.uk. For support and billing enquiries, please contact support@lsae.co.uk, for career opportunities at LSAE contact careers@lsae.co.uk, and for partnership enquiries contact partnership@lsae.co.uk. You can also reach our Student Support team via the WhatsApp chat button on our Platform, or visit lsae.co.uk. We aim to respond to all enquiries within three Working Days.

2.3 Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms apply from the moment you first access our Platform or Services. By continuing to use the Platform, enrolling on a Course, or creating an account, you are accepting these Terms without modification. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organisation or employer, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2.4 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms — including the Refund Policy at Section 6 — at any time. Where changes are material, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email or a prominent notice on the Platform before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any amended Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not accept the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and notify us in writing at support@lsae.co.uk.

3. User Registration and Account

3.1 Eligibility

To register for an account or enrol on any LSAE Course, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration. If you are under 18, you may only register with the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must also accept these Terms on your behalf;
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the laws of England and Wales or your country of residence;
  • Not be barred from using our Services under any applicable law; and
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.

3.2 Account Registration

To access our Services as a Member, you must create an account by completing the registration process on our Platform at lsae.co.uk. You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and to keep this information current throughout the duration of your account. LSAE reserves the right to reject any registration or suspend any account where we have reason to believe the information provided is false, misleading, or incomplete.

3.3 Account Security and Credentials

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials, including your username and password. You must not share your credentials with any third party or allow any other person to access your account, whether for payment or otherwise.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorised by you. You must notify us immediately at support@lsae.co.uk if you become aware of or suspect any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. LSAE shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

3.4 One Account Per User

Each Member is permitted to hold one registered account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, access restrictions, or promotional limitations is a breach of these Terms and may result in the termination of all associated accounts without refund.

3.5 Account Suspension and Closure

You may request closure of your account at any time by contacting us at support@lsae.co.uk. Account closure does not automatically entitle you to a refund of any Fees paid, except where expressly provided for under Section 6 (Refund Policy) of these Terms. Certain data may be retained following account closure in accordance with our Cookie & Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.

LSAE reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice in the event of a breach of these Terms, non-payment of Fees, or where we are required to do so for legal or regulatory reasons.

4. Course Content and Access

4.1 Nature of Our Courses

LSAE offers 100% online Degree Pathways and Professional Qualification courses delivered through our Platform at lsae.co.uk. Courses may include video lessons, reading materials, interactive assessments, downloadable resources, and community features. The specific content, structure, duration, and any prerequisites for each Course are described on the relevant Course page at the time of enrolment.

4.2 Access Upon Enrolment

Subject to receipt of full payment of the applicable Fees (or the first instalment where an instalment plan has been agreed), you will be granted access to your enrolled Course(s) within 24 hours of your Enrolment Date. Access is granted for your personal, non-commercial use only and is subject to your continued compliance with these Terms.

4.3 Duration of Access

Unless otherwise specified on the Course page or communicated to you in writing, Course access is granted on a lifetime basis for personal use. 'Lifetime access' means for as long as LSAE continues to make the Course available on its Platform. In the event that a Course is retired or discontinued, we will endeavour to provide at least 90 days' advance notice to all enrolled students.

4.4 Updates and Modifications to Content

We reserve the right to update, modify, replace, or remove Course content at any time in order to maintain accuracy, relevance, and educational quality. Where material changes are made to a Course in which you are actively enrolled, we will endeavour to notify you by email. Minor amendments, such as corrections, updated statistics, or formatting changes, may be made without notice.

4.5 Assessments and Academic Integrity

Where a Course includes assessments, quizzes, or assignments, these must be completed by you personally and independently. Submission of work that is not your own, whether through plagiarism, contract cheating, use of unauthorised AI-generated content, impersonation, or any other means, constitutes academic misconduct and may result in withdrawal of your Course access and certificate, without refund.

LSAE reserves the right to use detection tools, similarity checking software, and verification processes to identify academic misconduct. We will follow a fair investigation process and afford you the opportunity to respond to any allegation before a final decision is made.

4.6 Certificates of Completion

Upon successful completion of a Course, including all required assessments and minimum engagement thresholds, a certificate of completion will be issued to the enrolled Member. Certificates are issued in the name of the registered Member and may not be transferred, assigned, or sold to another person. Certificates may be checked by third parties using our Certificate Verification tool at lsae.co.uk//verify.

LSAE reserves the right to revoke any certificate found to have been obtained through fraudulent means, academic misconduct, or in breach of these Terms. Where a Course is accredited by a third-party body, the terms and process for that accreditation will be communicated to you at the point of enrolment.

4.7 Technical Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary hardware, software, and internet connectivity to access and use the Platform and Course materials, and to make use of our accessibility features where required (see our Accessibility Statement). LSAE does not guarantee that the Platform will be compatible with all devices, operating systems, or browsers. Minimum technical requirements for each Course are published on the relevant Course page.

5. Fees and Payment

5.1 Pricing

Course prices are displayed on our Platform in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and, where available for your region, in USD, EUR, NGN, or GHS, inclusive of applicable VAT unless otherwise stated at checkout. Prices are correct at the time of display but are subject to change without prior notice. Any price change will not affect purchases already made and confirmed. Where a Course is purchased in a currency other than GBP, the amount charged may be subject to currency conversion by your card issuer or our payment service provider, and LSAE is not responsible for any conversion fees applied by third parties.

5.2 Payment Terms

Full payment of the applicable Fees must be made before Course access is granted, unless a written instalment plan has been agreed with LSAE in advance. We accept payment via the methods listed on our checkout page, including major debit and credit cards. All payments are processed securely by our authorised PCI-DSS compliant payment service providers. LSAE does not store full payment card details.

5.3 Instalment Plans

Where an instalment plan is agreed in writing, you remain liable for the full balance of Fees regardless of whether you complete the Course or continue to access it. Failure to make instalment payments when due may result in suspension of your Course access until the outstanding balance is settled. LSAE reserves the right to refer outstanding debts to a third-party debt collection agency and to seek recovery of reasonable collection costs, as permitted by applicable law.

5.4 Promotional Codes and Discounts

Promotional codes and discount offers are subject to the specific terms communicated at the time of the promotion and may have limited validity periods, usage restrictions, or eligibility requirements. Promotional prices cannot be applied retrospectively to completed purchases.

5.5 Failed and Disputed Payments

If a payment fails, is declined, or is reversed (including through a chargeback initiated with your bank or card provider), we reserve the right to suspend or restrict your access to the relevant Course(s) immediately until payment is successfully completed. We may apply reasonable administration charges for failed payment processing. We encourage you to contact us at support@lsae.co.uk before initiating a chargeback, as we are committed to resolving payment disputes fairly — see also Section 6.9 (Chargebacks and Payment Disputes).

5.6 Refunds

Refunds are governed in full by our Refund Policy at Section 6 below, which forms part of these Terms. Please review that section carefully before enrolling. In summary, you have a 14-day money-back guarantee from your Enrolment Date during which you may request a full refund, subject to the eligibility conditions in Section 6.2. This is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law (Section 6.8).

5.7 VAT and Taxation

LSAE is VAT-registered in the United Kingdom. VAT is charged in accordance with applicable UK tax legislation. A valid VAT receipt will be issued for all taxable purchases. Students based outside the UK may be subject to different tax treatment depending on their jurisdiction; you are responsible for understanding and complying with any local tax obligations that arise from your purchase.

6. Refund Policy

At LSAE, we stand behind the quality of every course we offer. For all refund enquiries, please contact support@lsae.co.uk.

This section forms our full Refund Policy and is incorporated into, and forms part of, these Terms and Conditions. It sets out the circumstances in which refunds are available, the process for requesting them, and your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

6.1 Our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee on all standard course enrolments, including Degree Pathways and Professional Qualification courses. If you are not fully satisfied with your course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your purchase date, provided you meet the eligibility conditions set out in Section 6.2 below. No lengthy explanation is required, although your feedback is always welcome as it helps us improve our courses.

This guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law, which are described further in Section 6.8 below.

6.2 Eligibility Conditions for a Refund

To be eligible for a refund under our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee, all of the following conditions must be met at the time your refund request is submitted:

  • Your refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of your original purchase date;
  • You have not completed more than 25% of the total course content at the time of your request (completion is calculated based on lessons, modules, or sections viewed or marked as complete on our Platform);
  • You have not downloaded, saved, or exported a certificate of completion for the relevant course;
  • Your request is submitted in good faith and is not part of a pattern of repeated or abusive refund requests (LSAE reserves the right to decline refund requests where there is evidence of bad faith or misuse of this policy).

6.3 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our Student Support team using the following method:

  • Email: support@lsae.co.uk
  • Website: lsae.co.uk (via the contact form)

When submitting your request, please include the following information to enable us to process your refund without delay:

  • Your full name as registered on your LSAE account;
  • The email address associated with your account;
  • The name of the course for which you are requesting a refund;
  • Your order or invoice reference number (available in your account dashboard or purchase confirmation email);
  • A brief reason for your refund request (optional, but helpful for our course improvement process).

Our team will acknowledge receipt of your request within three Working Days and will process eligible refunds within 5 to 10 Working Days of approval. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, and may take additional time to appear in your account.

6.4 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The 14-calendar-day period has passed since your original purchase date;
  • More than 25% of the course content has been accessed or completed at the time of the request;
  • A certificate of completion has been issued and/or downloaded for the relevant course;
  • The refund request is assessed by LSAE as fraudulent, made in bad faith, or part of a pattern of abuse of this policy;
  • The course was purchased through a third-party platform or marketplace (in such cases, the refund policy of the relevant third-party platform applies);
  • The course was a promotional or heavily discounted purchase where non-refundability was a stated condition of the discount, clearly communicated and agreed to at the point of purchase;
  • The student has been suspended or their account terminated for breach of these Terms;
  • Circumstances that are within your reasonable control, such as a change of personal circumstances, scheduling preferences, or a decision that the course is no longer of interest.

6.5 Course Bundles and Instalment Plans

6.5.1 Course Bundles

Where you purchase a bundle of two or more courses, the 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies to the bundle as a whole. A refund will be considered only if the eligibility conditions in Section 6.2 are met in respect of all courses within the bundle. Partial refunds for individual courses within a bundle are not available unless agreed in writing by LSAE.

6.5.2 Instalment Plans

Where you are enrolled on a course through an agreed instalment payment plan, the 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies to the total purchase as of the date of the first instalment payment. If you cancel within 14 days and meet the eligibility conditions, you will be refunded all instalments paid to date and your future instalment obligations will be cancelled. Cancellation of an instalment plan outside the 14-day period does not entitle you to a refund of sums already paid, and you remain liable for any outstanding balance unless LSAE agrees otherwise in writing.

6.5.3 Subscriptions

For subscription-based access plans, refunds apply to the most recent billing period if a refund is requested within 14 calendar days of that payment being taken, provided that no courses accessed during that billing period have been completed beyond the 25% threshold. Historical billing periods are not eligible for refund.

6.6 Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you experience circumstances outside of the standard refund window that make it genuinely impossible for you to continue your studies — such as serious illness, hospitalisation, bereavement, or other significant and unexpected life events — please contact us at support@lsae.co.uk as soon as possible.

We will review each exceptional circumstance request individually, with empathy and fairness. Where appropriate, we may offer one or more of the following resolutions:

  • A full or partial refund at our discretion;
  • A course transfer to an alternative course of equivalent or lesser value;
  • A course deferral, allowing you to pause your enrolment and resume at a later date;
  • An extension of your course access period.

We may request supporting documentation (such as a medical certificate or other evidence) in order to assess your request fairly. All exceptional circumstance requests and supporting documents are handled confidentially and in accordance with our Cookie & Privacy Policy.

6.7 Courses Cancelled or Significantly Changed by LSAE

In the rare event that LSAE cancels a course or makes changes that significantly and materially alter the nature or scope of the course as described at the time of your enrolment, you will be entitled to:

  • A full refund of all Fees paid for that course, regardless of how much of the course you have completed; or
  • A transfer to an alternative course of equivalent or lesser value, at your election.

LSAE will endeavour to provide at least 90 days' advance notice of any course retirement or discontinuation, and will communicate clearly with all affected students about the options available to them.

6.8 Your Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer protection law, including:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015, which provides that digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If our course content is defective or does not conform to those standards, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the terms of this policy.
  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (CCRs), which provide a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts for digital content. Please note that under the CCRs, if you expressly consent to the immediate commencement of access to digital content before the cancellation period has expired, and acknowledge that your right of cancellation is lost upon doing so, then you will not be entitled to cancel under the CCRs once access has begun.

Where you purchase a course and immediately access the content (for example, by clicking 'Start Course'), you will typically be asked to acknowledge that your statutory cooling-off right is waived in respect of that content. Our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies separately from and in addition to your statutory rights, as described in Section 6.1.

For further information about your consumer rights, visit citizensadvice.org.uk or contact Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133.

6.9 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage students who have any concern about a purchase to contact us directly at support@lsae.co.uk before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card provider. We are committed to resolving any billing issues quickly and fairly, and a direct approach is usually the fastest way to reach a resolution.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your course access being suspended while the dispute is investigated. LSAE reserves the right to contest chargebacks where we believe they have been initiated without justification, and to recover associated administration costs where a chargeback is upheld in our favour.

Changes to this Refund Policy are made on the same basis as changes to the rest of these Terms — see Section 2.4 above.

7. Member Rights and Obligations

7.1 Member Benefits

As a registered Member with an active enrolment, you are entitled to:

  • Access to the Course(s) for which you have enrolled and paid in full;
  • Access to any course updates or revised materials published during your access period;
  • Customer support via email at support@lsae.co.uk during our published support hours;
  • A certificate of completion upon meeting all relevant course requirements, checkable via our Certificate Verification tool;
  • Access to any Member-only community features, discussion forums, or live sessions associated with your Course(s), where applicable and as described on the Course page.

7.2 Member Obligations

As a Member, you agree to:

  • Access and use the Services only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law;
  • Engage respectfully and professionally with LSAE staff, tutors, and fellow students in any community or communication channel;
  • Not misrepresent your credentials, qualifications, course completion status, or identity in any context relating to your LSAE membership or certificates;
  • Not engage in any conduct that brings LSAE, its staff, or other students into disrepute;
  • Keep your account information accurate and up to date.

7.3 Community and Discussion Forums

Where LSAE provides community features, forums, or peer discussion tools as part of a Course, you are responsible for any content you post or transmit. Content must not be unlawful, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, harassing, or in breach of any third party's rights. LSAE reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate the accounts of Members who repeatedly or seriously breach these standards.

7.4 Non-Transferability

Membership, enrolment, and any associated certificates are personal to you and may not be transferred, assigned, gifted, or sold to another person. Allowing another person to use your account to access Course materials, whether or not for payment, constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

7.5 Refer & Earn Referral Programme

Members may take part in our Refer & Earn programme, through which you can earn a cash reward (currently up to £500, as shown on the Platform at the time) for each successful referral. Participation is optional and subject to the following conditions:

  • You may only refer individuals who are not already registered with LSAE and who have not previously enrolled on a Course;
  • A referral is 'successful', and a reward becomes payable, only once the referred individual has enrolled on a Course, paid the applicable Fees in full (or the first instalment, where an instalment plan applies), and completed their 14-day Refund Policy window at Section 6 without cancelling;
  • You may not refer yourself, use false or duplicate identities, or otherwise attempt to manipulate the programme to generate rewards that do not reflect a genuine referral;
  • Referral rewards are paid to the referring Member's registered payment details within 30 days of the referral becoming successful, and are subject to any tax obligations applicable to you in your jurisdiction, which are your responsibility;
  • LSAE may amend the reward amount, eligible courses, or terms of the Refer & Earn programme at any time, and may suspend or close the programme altogether on reasonable notice; such changes will not affect rewards already earned and confirmed;
  • LSAE reserves the right to withhold or reclaim a reward, and to suspend a Member's participation in the programme, where we reasonably believe the programme has been misused or these conditions have not been met.

For full details of how we use referral data, see our Cookie & Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

8.1 Permitted Use

You may access and use the Platform and Services solely for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial learning purposes and in strict accordance with these Terms. Any commercial use of the Services, including resale, redistribution, or use for corporate training without our written consent, is strictly prohibited.

8.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:

  • Share your account credentials or grant access to your enrolled Course(s) to any third party, whether for payment or otherwise;
  • Screen record, screenshot, download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any Course content or materials, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission;
  • Upload, re-publish, or transmit LSAE Content to any third-party platform, website, file-sharing service, or social media;
  • Use the Platform or Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harassing purpose;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, our servers, databases, or other infrastructure;

  • Impersonate LSAE, any of its staff, tutors, accreditation partners, or any other person or entity;
  • Post, transmit, or facilitate the distribution of any content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
  • Use the Services in any manner that could damage, overburden, or impair the Platform or interfere with other users' enjoyment of it;
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features, digital rights management, content protection mechanisms, or access controls on the Platform;
  • Engage in any form of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, collusion, or use of unauthorised assistance in assessments.

8.3 Reporting Misuse

If you become aware of any misuse of the Platform or any activity that appears to breach these Terms, we encourage you to report it promptly at support@lsae.co.uk or via the reporting function on the Platform. We take all reports of misuse seriously and will investigate them promptly and fairly.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Ownership of LSAE Content

All Content available through the Platform — including but not limited to video lessons, audio recordings, written course materials, assessments, slide decks, workbooks, graphics, branding, trademarks, logos, and the structure and organisation of Courses — is the exclusive intellectual property of LSAE or its licensed content providers. All such Content is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9.2 Limited Licence Granted to You

Upon enrolment and subject to your compliance with these Terms, LSAE grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Content solely for your own personal, non-commercial learning purposes during your access period. This licence does not permit you to:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, transmit, broadcast, or publicly display any Content;
  • Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer any Content or your access rights to any third party;
  • Create derivative works based on any Content without our prior written permission;
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, watermark, or other proprietary notices from any Content.

9.3 Your Content

Where you submit content to LSAE through the Platform (including assessment submissions, forum posts, feedback, or survey responses), you retain ownership of your original content but grant LSAE a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt, and publish such content for the purposes of delivering and improving our Services, subject to our Cookie & Privacy Policy.

9.4 Feedback and Suggestions

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us regarding our Services may be used by LSAE without restriction, compensation, or attribution. You waive any moral rights in such feedback to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9.5 Third-Party Intellectual Property

Some Content may include material licensed from third parties. You must not use such material in any way that exceeds the scope of the relevant licences. Where we incorporate third-party material, we endeavour to credit the rights holder appropriately. If you become aware of any potential copyright issue in our Content, please notify us at support@lsae.co.uk.

9.6 Infringement Claims

If you believe that any Content on our Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at support@lsae.co.uk with full details of the alleged infringement, including your contact details, a description of the work you believe has been infringed, and the location of the allegedly infringing material. We will investigate all valid claims promptly.

10. Data Protection

LSAE is committed to protecting your personal data. We process your personal data as a data controller in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). Full details of how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data, and your rights as a data subject, are set out in our Cookie & Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy, both of which are incorporated into and form part of this Agreement.

By registering and using our Services, you acknowledge that LSAE will collect and process personal data about you as described in our Cookie & Privacy Policy. You represent that all personal data you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. To exercise your data rights or for any privacy enquiries, contact support@lsae.co.uk.

11. Breach and Enforcement

11.1 What Constitutes a Breach

Without limitation, the following will constitute a material breach of these Terms:

  • Sharing your account credentials or Course access with any third party;
  • Reproducing, distributing, or uploading LSAE Content without prior written authorisation;
  • Engaging in academic misconduct, including plagiarism, cheating, or impersonation in assessments;
  • Failing to pay Fees when due, including instalment payments;
  • Using the Platform for any unlawful or prohibited purpose;
  • Engaging in any conduct prohibited under Section 8 of these Terms;
  • Providing false or misleading information at registration or during your membership.

11.2 Consequences of Breach

In the event of a breach of these Terms, LSAE reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a formal written warning;
  • Temporarily suspend your access to the Platform and Services;
  • Permanently terminate your account without refund of any Fees paid;
  • Revoke any certificate of completion previously issued to you;
  • Pursue civil legal proceedings to recover losses, damages, and costs incurred by LSAE;
  • Report your conduct to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required or appropriate.

11.3 Investigation Process

LSAE reserves the right to investigate any suspected breach of these Terms. During an active investigation, we may temporarily suspend your access to the Platform. We will use reasonable endeavours to conduct investigations promptly and will inform you of the outcome where appropriate, subject to any legal constraints.

11.4 No Waiver

Failure by LSAE to enforce any provision of these Terms on any occasion shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision on a future occasion.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1 No Guarantee of Outcomes

LSAE Courses are designed to support your professional development, knowledge, and skills. While we strive to ensure that all Content is accurate, current, and of high quality, we make no warranty or representation that completing any Course will result in specific career outcomes, employment, professional qualifications, salary increases, job placements, or any other particular professional or personal achievement. Individual outcomes will vary.

12.2 Platform Availability

We aim to make the Platform available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and accept no liability for any downtime, technical errors, or interruptions to the Services caused by factors within or outside our reasonable control, including planned maintenance, third-party infrastructure failures, or force majeure events. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where practicable.

12.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LSAE's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the total Fees paid by you to LSAE in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall LSAE be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or reputational damage, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12.4 Consumer Rights — Nothing Excluded

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other mandatory consumer protection legislation.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Cookie & Privacy Policy, Data Protection Policy, Accessibility Statement, and any course-specific terms notified to you at enrolment, constitute the entire agreement between you and LSAE with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral — including the previous, separately published Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy dated 17 April 2025.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.

13.3 Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. LSAE may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to any successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of its assets, provided that your rights under these Terms are not materially diminished as a result.

13.4 Third-Party Rights

These Terms do not confer any enforceable rights on third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, except where expressly stated in these Terms.

13.5 Force Majeure

LSAE shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic or epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action or legislation, industrial disputes, power failures, or internet outages. In such circumstances, we will use reasonable endeavours to resume normal service as quickly as practicable and will communicate with affected students accordingly.

13.6 Notices

Any formal notices required under these Terms must be sent by email to the relevant address listed in these Terms and shall be deemed received on the Working Day following the date of sending. LSAE will send notices to the email address registered on your account. You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date.

13.7 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
